Beloved members of Taekwondo family!

2024, the Year of the Blue Dragon has arrived. I hope the energy of the dragon gives you the confidence to embark on new challenges and I sincerely wish each step you take yields fruitful results in the new year.

Ever since Kukkiwon opened on November 30, 1972 as the central Taekwondo academy, Kukkiwon has played a pivotal role in developing and globalizing Taekwondo.

This has been possible because of your honorable, hard work, dedication and sacrifice as proud Taekwondoin.

While last year was the year where we laid the foundation for the next 50 years for Kukkiwon and marked the beginning of new changes, 2024 will be the year where we make the projects and policies we’ve been working on more concrete and we achieve big results.

By building the second Kukkiwon and working globally through our overseas branches and representative offices, we will strengthen our presence and our global competitiveness.

United as one and with unwavering determination, we will make Kukkiwon a force that drives new growth.

We would like to ask for your continued support for Kukkiwon as we strive to further develop Taekwondo.
