Quantity: Must be at least 7,000 letters in Korean or 4,000 words in English(10page).

All of the Designated and Mandatory Poomsae videos. Each Poomsae must be each file.
Gyeorugi(Sparring) - 1 minute or over with the same gender, similar weight, and age.

＊ Please check the “APP for Video Promotion Test” menu if you would like to use the mobile version. Please read them carefully.

＊ Please include all videos in a USB Drive(PIN drive) if you are submitting your applications via Post Mail.

＊ The iOS(apple) version will be available from 2024 March.

＊ 5th Dan promotion test will be conducted by Video from the 1st of Jan 2024.
4th Dan promotion is scheduled for a video test in 2025.

The video quality must set to 720p(1289 X 720).
Each video can not exceed the file size of 100mb.
The video file‵s name shall be saved as “Poomsae(name). filename extension”and submit it.
When shooting a Gyeorugi video, the applicant raises his hand and shouts his name loudly before the Gyeorugi begins.

6th Dan: Basic Movement, Taebaek, Pyeongwon, Sipjin, Jitae, Gyeorugi(Sparring), Thesis.
7th Dan: Basic Movement, Pyeongwon, Sipjin, Jitae, Choenkwon, Gyeorugi(Sparring), Thesis.

All applicants must wear WHITE dobok ONLY.
While Performing Poomsae, wearing any accessories and shoes are not allowed.
All applicants must wear hogu when you perform Gyeorugi.
All applicants may wear protective gears while you perform Gyeorugi.
All applicants must perform Gyeorugi with same genders with similar physique and training period.

Attaching an applicant’s affiliation name (a logo) on the left chest of the Dobok top (front) is allowed in the lower part of the V-neck. But if a national flag is to be attached to the left chest, attacghing an applicant’s affiliation name (a logo) on the right chest is allowed(with the size of dotted lines on the left or right chest)	Attaching an applicant’s affiliation name, “Taekwondo” letters, etc. on the Dobok top is allowed. The Result of the video promotion test will be notified by APP or through email that you have put in on the application form
Applicants may fail due to their poor performance and the reason for the fail may be notified to you.
Applicants may fail in Thesis if the Contents are not sufficient enough or not related to Taekwondo.
Thesis must include the applicant‵s thought, not the list of techniques.
Kukkiwon will check for plagiarism and the application will be banned for next 6 months for promotion.
If you FAIL, You can submit the videos again for re-test ONLY ONCE within 6months, and if you fail again, you can re-test after 6month.

Payment must be made by Bank Transfer ONLY.
Detailed bank information and the amount will be notified with the result.
Applicants must send the Copy of the Transaction Receipt through the email you have received the result(lt must show the date and the sender‵s name).
