Kukkiwon has renewed its official website to improve user convenience.

Since last April, Kukkiwon has been propelled the website renovation project with the goal of implementing multilingual service, applying responsive web technology, expanding communication channels access, and establishing new informative pages for more efficient operation of the website.

The last renovation of Kukkiwon’s website was carried out about 7 years ago in 2014, which was carried out to robust inquiry service on the Taekwondo certifications including Poom and Dan.

Through this renovation, the website will expand its language service from the existing 3 languages ??????(Korean, English, and Chinese) to a total of 10 by adding Japanese, German, Russian, Vietnamese, French, Arabic, and Spanish.

Although the multilingual translation function is not perfect, the focus is on helping users around the world to understand the basic context of information the website provides.

It is noteworthy that the website has adopted a responsive web technology to help users conveniently access to the website in consideration of different user environment such smartphones, tablets, or devices.

In order to expand the accessibility of communication channels, the website embedded ???Add KakaoTalk Friends??? function on the main page to facilitate the acquisition of information related to Kukkiwon.

In addition, new page has been created where users can easily find out the information on the previous presidents, chairmen, and awardees of the Honorary Taekwondo 9th Dan holders.

After the current Taekwondo textbook compilation project is completed, Kukkiwon plans to revise and supplement various contents of the website, while creating and running a new special page to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its opening as of the year 2022.
