Kukkiwon Taekwondo Friendship Training Program started.
The welcoming ceremony of the ’2013 Taekwondo Friendship Training Program’ was held in
Kukkiwon on June 10th. ’Taekwondo Friendship Training Program is for the further propagation of Taekwondo
and the fostering of outstanding athletes from developing countries.
Through this program, Kukkiwon is especially devoted to mutual promotion and the establishment of
partners for Taekwondo culture diffusion by focusing on nurturing talented people in Taekwondo
and developing Taekwondo in the participating countries.
The invited people in this year’s are Kangning Zhang(China), LE VAN DUNG(Vietnam), RASHIDUL HASAN(Bangladesh),
VELASQUEZ LORETO JR(Philippine), Lee Boon Hsin(Malaysia), RANGSARIT JAMRERN(Taiwan),
Thiri Tint Lwin(Republic of the Union of Myanmar), Warnakulasuriya FERNANDO(Sri Lanka), JOSE ANTONIO
SORIANO ALVAREZ(Mexico), STAMEN ZAHARIEV(Bulgaria), MOHAMMAD ABDUL-MALIK(Nigeria).
They will be experiencing Taekwondo until September through the World Taekwondo Leaders Forum,
the World Taekwondo Hanmadang, and many other specialized educational programs and events.
