The popular Kukkiwon Taekwondo Demonstration Program will be held once again at Namsangol
Hanok Village this year. The demonstrations will be held six times a week from May to November,
with from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Since 2007, the city of Seoul has selected a demonstration team every year to perform Taekwondo
Demonstrations for tourists. Kukkiwon’s team won the opportunity every year except in 2010.

In addition to the Taekwondo demonstrations, foreigners interested in Taekwondo will be able to
try doing Taekwondo and various other Taekwondo-related activities in the Taekwondo Experience
Program for Foreigners. Participants will get the opportunity to wear a Dobok(Taekwondo uniform),
learn about Taekwondo theories and mediations and basic Taekwondo techniques such as kicking,
board-smashing and the art of self-defense.

The slogan for the 2013 demonstration performance is ’Discovery Spirit’.
