Kukkiwon dispatched Kukkiwon Taekwondo Demonstration Team to Belgium, Italy
from April 4th to April 12th.

Kukkiwon demo team will be perform Taekwondo at 34th Belgian Open Taekwondo
Championships, Salone Internazionale del mobile 2013 at Milano on April 6th and
April 10th.

Also, Kukkiwon demo team will be perform at Korean Culture Festival of Consolato
Generale della Repubblica di COREA to promote Taekwondo.

Kukkiwon President Kang said that Kukkiwon will take a more active role in hosting
domestic Taekwondo demonstrations.

The Kukkiwon Demonstration Team consists of over 70 Taekwondo masters and
students who hold a fifth degree black belt in Taekwondo.
Since its foundation 1974, the team has visited over 100 countries to promote
Taekwondo worldwide. The team not only promotes the martial art through its
demonstration at various festivals and events related to Korea, but also actively
promotes Korean culture.
