Kukkiwon Taekwondo Demonstration Team(KTDT) well completed its dispatch to Kazakhstan.

KTDT's Taekwondo demonstration was held at the Eruasia University(Kazakhstan) on Nov.18th to 19th, after the request of the Korean Culture Center in Kazakhstan.

Before the dispatch, President Kang expressed his appreciation toward the KTDT saying, “ It is not more to say that Taekwondo is the beginning of the Korean wave. Please be proud of yourselves being the true missionaries of Taekwondo and do contribute for the development of Taekwondo in Kazakhstan."

Over 250 Kazakhstan are learning Korean in the Korean Culture Center(Kazakhstan) and over a thousand people participated in the global audition organized by the SM Entertainment(Korea) last July.

Through this, we can realize that Korea and its cultures are being well settled in Kazakhstan and their culture widely.

Kukkiwon Taekwondo Demonstration Team went out to Kazakhstan in four years.

They gave Taekwondo demonstrations at Eurasia University for two days, dating from 18th November, by the request of Korean Culture Center in Kazakhstan.

President Kang said, "It can't be too much of that Taekwondo is the beginning of Korean Wave. We just need to focus on its demonstrations more to spread Taekwondo in Kazakhstan."

He also said, "Kukkiwon officials and demonstration team also need to work in close cooperation to keep Taekwondo as one event of Olympic Games.", at an inaugural meeting on 16th Nov..

Now, It's quite popular with Korean wave in Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstani over 250 is learning Korean language in Korean Culture Center. And Kazakhstani over a thousand was auditioned by SM Entertainment, Korean company, last July.

It's cultural feature not only of the public, but also of the educated class.

Eurasia University established a course of Korean Language.

This is not temporary interest. We believe it takes firm root in Kazakhstani's mind as a culture.
