New Year’s Greetings Dear Taekwondo family! The year of 2021 where all of us had to endure the aftermath of the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has come to an end and we are now greeting the new hopeful year of 2022. The year of 2021 had started in despair with anxiety of COVID-19. However, there was no setback for the Taekwondo family, who continued to challenge themselves in spite of a number of trials and tribulations. We have done our best to get through the darkest tunnel, and we are still exerting ourselves. We must start anew with the belief that the year to come will definitely be better than last year. Facing the 50th anniversary of Kukkiwon, we will do our utmost to faithfully fulfill our inborn role of the center of the global Taekwondo family as the World Taekwondo Headquarters and holy land. Opportunities are not given, but something we create. If we all work hand in hand to turn a crisis into an opportunity, the year of 2022 will welcome us warmly in full of hope.
