New Year’s Greetings Dear Taekwondo family! The new year of 2022 has dawned. This year is especially significant for Kukkiwon as it marks its 50th anniversary. Since its first step as the Taekwondo’s Central Training Center on November 30, 1972, Kukkiwon has been leading the advancement of Taekwondo and its community for the last half a century. All Kukkiwon members have never forgotten the heartfelt effort and dedication of Taekwondo family to the development of Taekwondo under the given circumstances to this day of the 50th anniversary of Kukkiwon. Kukkiwon believes there is nothing we cannot overcome when we are together with our Taekwondo family. Kukkiwon promises to continue to devote ourselves for the future as we ever have been. This year in particular we will continue our unremitting efforts to gain a foothold for the better future by providing more support, launching new offices and branches, and renovating Kukkiwon’s building. We would like to ask Taekwondo family for their lavish support for Kukkiwon's efforts to make Taekwondo advance. We would also like to deliver a sincere appreciation and gratitude to Taekwondo family for their dedication to Taekwondo’s global dissemination amid this challenging time of COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you very much. We wish you a happy new year.
