[notice] New CI of the Kukkiwon,Expresses the Kukkiwon in the center of the World

Kukkiwon(President Won Sik, Kang) which have walked along together with the long history of Taekwondo is now making a new leap forward by re-designing the Kukkiwon CI, after becoming the special purpose corporation.
The new CI and application, which has been prepared for almost 1 year, is now being used since August, after being approved by the Kukkiwon board of directors. The experts evaluated the CI saying "Among the corporate identities made from Taegeuk mark, the new Kukkiwon CI has the highest quality"
The new CI holds the will of the Kukkiwon which not only succeeds the history and tradition of the Taekwondo but also changes innovative. It has been re-designed regarding to the environment of the global communication and also the application and scalability in Taekwondo do-jang.
The outer side, designed from the shape of the earth, shows the worldwide opened Kukkiwon and the Taegeuk line in the center shows the soaring Kukkiwon's vision, pride and self-respect of the Taekwondo people and the dynamic energy of the Taekwondo.
The two parts divided by Taeguk, shows the will of Kukkiwon trying to communicate smoothly with the world Taekwondo family. Also, it shows the harmony of tradition and innovation of the earth, sky, yin and yang. The blue part expresses trusted Kukkiwon with strong will and the yellow part expresses dignity of the Taekwondo.
Experts are giving favorable comments to the new CI and new Poom·Dan certificate which is made by applying the new CI. Professor Kyung Sun Kim of Seoul National University said "The new Kukkiwon CI not only succeeds the history and tradition of the Taekwondo but also shows the innovative change of the Taekwondo while shows the modern viewpoint properly ."
Ahn Werner, the chief executive officer of Optima Group(USA), said "The new Kukkiwon CI makes me want to visit Korea just by looking at it. It is high quality CI with perspective persuasion. It is also readable and the global communication will be avaliable by this CI.
Meanwhile, staff of the Kukkiwon said, "The new Kukkiwon CI and application will be posted on the Kukkiwon website so that any do-jang in necessary of the CI may use it. The new CI will be used on the sign-board and provided to the Kukkiwon Overseas Members' do-jang."
